Resolving to become the world's greatest stand-up comedian despite less-than-funny challenges in his life, wheelchair-bound middle school student Jamie Grimm endures bullying from his mean-spirited cousin and hopes he will be fairly judged when he enters a local comedy contest.

this book about a boy going through middle school as a normal kid, but he's in a wheel chair, which always brings him down. he is a little self conscious, and has terrible stage fright. he is a very funny comedian, but as with any life, there is always more to the story than what appears.

Lol laughed so hard when I read this

(opening sentences)
Have you ever done something extremely stupid like, oh, I don't know, try to make a room filled with total strangers laugh until their sides hurt?
Totally dumb, right?
